Immunoassay is a method of detecting antigen based on the principle that antigen and labeled antigen will compete to bind to antibody. When using the immunoassay, if the unlabeled antigen is not added, the antibody will completely bind to the labeled antigen to form a labeled antigen-antibody complex. When the unlabeled antigen is added, the unlabeled antigen will also bind to the antibody to form the unlabeled antigen-antibody complex, thereby inhibiting the binding reaction between the labeled antigen and the antibody, and reducing the content of the labeled antigen in the product. If that amount of the antibody and the labeled antigen are fixed, there is a certain function between the amount of non-labeled antigen added and the content of the labeled antigen in the complex. The amount of antigen in the sample can be calculated according to the appropriate method for detection of the labeled antigen in the complex.
