BHP9515 A Portable Rapid Detection System for Water Toxicity

BHP9515 portable rapid detector for water quality toxicity provides a simple and rapid biological toxicity detection method. Compared with the traditional biological detection systems such as fish, algae and daphnia, the luminescent bacteria method used in this system is simple, rapid, sensitive and can be used to detect the comprehensive biotoxicity of many kinds of samples. This system provides three test modes: ISO test mode, basic test mode and RLU test mode, which are easy to meet the different testing needs of customers and convenient for customers to choose.

Principle of detection

Using a group of bacteria that emit blue-green fluorescent light (similar to that of fireflies), the light intensity of this kind of bacteria is constant and stable under stable conditions, and will react “sensitively” once encountering external adverse factors (e.g., when encountering toxic substances), usually showing that the luminous value is suppressed. The degree of inhibition is related to the concentration of the toxic substance and its toxicity. The degree of luminescence inhibition of luminescent bacteria is detected by a photoelectric sensor, then the acute toxicity of the toxic substance is calculated according to the change of detection signal.
